First, let me say it was an incredible trip for us. China Highlights provided exceptional service in every way. We felt very well taken care of and I am happy to fill out your survey. The most memorable attractions: it is so hard to pick just one, it might be a different one for each person in our group but I would have to say The Great Wall and the Panda Reserve. Of the cities, Guilin was the most beautiful and we found we wanted to spend more time in Chengdu and Xian. All 3 shows were fantastic- the minority show in Guilin (my favorite), the Kungfu show in Beijing and the acrobatics in Shanghai (the kids favorite). They were a highlight for us.

The most outstanding tour guide: I have 4 favorites. Becky in Guangzhou was delightful. So full of enthusiasm and answered all our questions with patience. Philip in Nanning was so very kind. He went out of his way to take care of us while we were in Nanning. He has such a generous and kind spirit. Grace in Guilin was exceptional! She was very flexible and devoted her time to us to make sure we had an incredible time while there. She worked out a different schedule for us so we could have a little time to rest. She also provided extra activities for us and helped us find a place for lunch on our free day. She went above and beyond all expectations. April in Xian was adorable. She was very easy to talk to and has a great grasp on the history in Xian. We wished for more time with her in that great city.

Hotels and food: The meals were all delicious. I think our favorite restaurant was McFound there in Guilin :) The hotels were all exactly what we needed- very comfortable and quiet. We enjoyed trying all the different dishes and were always surprised and pleased when finding new favorites. All the breakfast buffets were wonderful, especially White Swan. I have to say we loved the lunches provided by your service. It was great to just sit down and have all this wonderful food brought out to us without having to order. I will definitely recommend your company to family, friends, and colleagues. If we get to come again in a few years, we will look forward to using your company again.

We were absolutely delighted with our trip and have already mentioned China Highlights to several of our friends. The service was excellent. The hotels were up to 4 star standards anywhere in the world and all of our internal flights were smooth and on time.

Our guides were wonderful. Each one insured that we had the very best tour of her city imaginable, but each had her own individual way of making us feel like welcome guests. The flexibility of the private tour gave us a chance to see some spectacular sights with expert guides and to spend time visiting with our son at Tsinghua University touring the Tsinghua campus and attending his graduation ceremony.

We also took a trip on our own to the Beijing Zoo, as you suggested, and saw the pandas. I can't decide on a favorite among all the amazing sights, the Great Wall, the Forbidden City, the Terra Cotta Warriors, etc. We saw so many wonderful things, but we saw them at our own pace and we never felt rushed. It was simply wonderful. Our guides all knew their cities, both history and culture, very thoroughly. Not only were they efficient in getting us around to all the hotels, airports and special sights, they were always very pleasant and gracious. We had planned to make this a once-in-a-lifetime trip, but now we are thinking of seeing more of China.

Thank you also for arranging the birthday celebration for my husband in Xi'an. He was quite surprised and delighted!

Hi Eva, Our trip was great in every respect - your guides were excellent, especially Sissi in Guilin, Leo in Suzhuo and the boy in Chongqing who's name I forget were absolutely great. Many thanks for all your hard work in organising our trip. My suggestions to potential travelers

1. Make sure that you have enough time in Guilin to see the scenic attractions here and do the evening Cormorant Fishermen trip.
   Everyone says the Li River trip is a must and it is true - do it!
2. Take a cycle ride in Yangshuo.
3. See the Impression.Sanjie Liu show in Yangshuo
4. Don't miss the hot pot dinner in Chongqing
5. Don't miss the canal cruise in Suzhou.
6. Take the West Lake cruise in Hangzhou

Dear Cheryl, We have enjoyed our china trip very much, and we are very happy overall with the accommodation and services provided by your company. It was a completely new experience for us and our children. In particular, Bakhor street was fantastic. We enjoyed everything very much.

Dear Elaine, I would like to say that our trip would not have been as wonderful if it weren't for Annabella (Xiang Fengli) our tour guide. She was amazing and I have recommended her name to other friends that are thinking of traveling to China through China Highlights. We were so impressed. We were blessed with an excellent, amazing experience throughout China, in no small part due to your assistance. Each step of the way, the plan unfolded like clockwork - the guide to Simati, the train tickets, our greeting in Xi'an and the excellent tour of the Warriors, the amazing Li river cruise, the paradesa hotel-each step more beautiful and perfect than the previous. I only wish we had more time. That place aside, we're grateful for your help. We felt very vulnerable and helpless coming over there. It was a relief that we could count on you guys to show up right on time, as scheduled each step of the way. The care you took was typical of the warm, loving embrace we recieved from the people of China throughout our whole adventure. Thanks for delivering what you promised. Candy, Now that we have rested and recovered mostly from the jet lag, I thought I would send a brief email thanking you for putting together a wonderful trip for us. I especially appreciate the care that China Highlights puts into the organization of the individual tours and the monitoring of their clients satisfaction during the tour. All the tour guides were very helpful and worked hard to please us. I especially enjoyed the journey through the ethnic minority area of Guizhou and Guangxi providences. Though at times the traveling on the rough roads was quite wearing, it was an amazing and beautiful area, relatively untouched by tourism. I valued the opportunity to walk through remote villages and rice terraces and observe everyday life without the numerous souvenir shops that lined the streets in such places as Dali and Lijiang, though I enjoyed those areas as well but for different reasons. Driving for days through the sculptured landscape with sinuous rice terraces continuing up all the high mountains as far as the eye could see was truly incredible. I especially liked the chance to walk with the farmers and their water buffalo along these terraces high in the mountains and looking out over the extensive terraces. The opportunity to spend the night in Zhaoxing and explore this lovely town for several hours was one of the high points of our trip. I hope more extensive tourism does not find this interesting town. The rice wine ceremony as we entered the Qingman village was also an unexpected treat. Again, thank you for organizing our trip and I would highly recommend you and China Highlights to anyone considering traveling through Guizhou and Guangxi providences or to anyone wanting customized individual tours. Hello Cheryl, I have recently returned from my holidays. the first leg of my holidays was to China. i would just like tyo take this opportunity to thank you and your company for making our trip to beijing and xi'an a memorable one. Our guide in Beijing- Crystal was excellent and you should be very proud to have her as a member of your team. although we had a relatively short time in China, we managed to see most major sights and still did not feel we were being rushed around. This was due in no small part to our driver and Crystal. Thank you for the service you provided. Because of your company we really did have the trip of a lifetime. Hi, Sunny, The best thing about our trip I would have to say was the cruise on the Yangtze it was just lovely, wish it could have been for a few days more. The Terracotta Warriors in Xian was also fantastic to and of course the Great Wall, but in all the whole trip was just great and everywhere when we arrived and had to go we got picked up and back to railway station or airport without fail. I can recommend train travel only not in China holiday time but if you have time it is a great way to travel no worries. It is great to have some time for yourselves and not always be in a group the whole time. Ask your guide where local go and eat we had great fun in some restaurants with the staff many times we were the only foreigner there and the staff thought it was great. There are so many attractions to see the once you know about, but in the cities we tried to venture away a few times from where the tourist go and found it very interesting to be away from the hurly burley and mingle a bit with the locals and you only really get chance to do that if you include free days in your trip. Hi Sunny, Me and my friend's opinion of our trip to China and about China Highlights service can be summarised into three words: Excellent! Excellent! EXCELLENT! The more we remember our trip the more we reach the conclusion that it is almost impossible to identify something that may have gone wrong or below our expectations. The trip went extremely smoothly and exceeded our more optimistic expectations. We are extremely happy with China Highlights' service. It is difficult to improve on what is already very, very good; We thoroughly enjoyed the majority of our meals. We had the feeling that the local restaurants selected were the top of the range; we had the impression that chinese people go to these restaurants, but they are not the common chinese people. Other restaurants were effectively tourist restaurants (examples: the lunch after the Great Wall, the lunch after the Jade Buddha Temple, the lunch in Suzhou). As I said and I have to insist on this, your service was EXCELLENT. Your country is wonderful and you make an excellent contribution to give the best possible impression of your country and of your people to your customers. We fell in love with China and we are already planning our second trip, which we will book with you, of course! Now, regarding your questions: the best thing about my trip: There were so many good things about this trip: the guides, the cars, the food, the sites, the people, China... I don't know. I think the best thing is the fact that we were treated as friends and not just as customers. This surely contributed to everything going SO WELL!
