- Hi! I’m Virginia Zhang, and I'm the webmaster for Mybeijingchina website. I specialize in creating new products and providing Beijing tours with a difference. I studied in Beijing for 4 years and commenced work almost immediately after that for China Highlights. After my initial training I began to specialize in Beijing Tour and look after this site. I love my job not only because of the job itself, but also because Chinese history and culture are one of my passions. I am look forward to showing my customers the real Beijing and I believe that Beijing will be full of surprises . Beijing In My Eyes
Beijing is the capital city of China, and the city that most Chinese people dream of visiting. These days it is also high on the list for many foreign visitors. I fulfilled my dream by being able to study at Beijing University commencing in 2003. Since first going to Beijing, I've been fascinated by its imperial palaces, historical landmarks, Hutong lanes as well as the local Beijingers. After graduating, I commenced work for this China Highlights and went back to Beijing in 2008, the Beijing Olympic Year. I was even more excited this time to witness the success of the Olympics in Beijing, which make me proud having spent time there. I can still recall the most exciting moments in Beijing. I would like to share some of my personal favorite places which I think you should not miss while in Beijing. I hope you them.
