Hi Sunny, Everything went to time and as in the itinary , it was the best holiday without any problems I have ever had. The places and scenery could not have been selected better, each time I was to meet a guide he/she was there and could not have been nicer people, their English was very good and knew their area extremely well. I must say we had an excellent holiday. We were met everywhere we went and our guides were charming. Couldn't do enough for us and were well informed. Joy in Beijing was an absolute delight. She made our stay there something to remember and was always thoughtful and caring. There were tears at the airport when we left. She made our stay memorable and interesting. Freeman in Xian was also wonderful. We found the trip fulfilling to say the least. The trip down the Yangtze was fantastic, a much needed reprieve after an exhausting week. Our hotels were good. The Anting Villa in Shanghai will become our stop off when we go there on business. Bruce goes over there about every six weeks and he was impressed. We all agreed that Chinahighlights did an excellent job on our itinerary and provided us with an excellent service. We thank you for that service. It's the first time I have booked over the net and not met my travel agent face to face, so that was an experience in itself. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and am so glad we finally got to see all those points of interest we have only read about or seen on television. Dear Cheryl, we are safely back to Italy and we are very very satisfied with our visit to China. We enjoyed every single moment of our trip and we want to thank you very much for organizing things so well and for being so prompt to make a change the only moment we felt necessary to make a change in our program. All hotels were very good, rooms large and nice. At the Bravo Hotel in Guilin, they were particularly nice and changed our room to a non smoking quieter room than the one they had given us in the front street. All transfers were absolutely perfect. We always found the guides with sign with our names clearly displayed waiting for us at arrival , all drivers were very nice, cars perfectly clean and comfortable. Carla and I want to signal as particularly good the guides we had in Suzhou: Susan and in Chengdu: Java; our Tibetan guide, Passang, although not perfect in English was extremely kind and took good care of us as persons when we were altitude sick, providing medicines, checking our health in the evening through telephone calls, thus we felt we were taken care of, that somebody was worrying about us, while his boss was very honest returning the money we had paid for the visit to Gamden Monastery where we could not go, because of our state of health. My husband and I have travelled for 31 days through China on our wn visiting the most important towns , Tibet, some very interesting Bhuddist places ( dazu and datong) ,taking the Yangtzee cruise . The services provided by Chinahighlights have been very accurate. Transfers to and from airports always punctual, drivers have always driven very carefully, (we went around Tibet for more than 600 km) , we found the hotels very good and the beds very confortable. Most of the restaurants have been very satisfying and food delicious . The only time we had a problem they solved it in less than 15 minutes. We will of course use again their services for our next trip through the northern part of China. Trust them, they are great, very punctual in answering also during the organization of the trip. Of course when we went to Guilin we went to meet our advisor Cheryl Chang and this is a very nice memory for us now. Dear Elaine Zhao shang hao! Ni hao ma? We arrived at home and we are fine! This is to thank you for your perfect and invaluable work. You made our first trip to China a dream coming true. The Lijiang section of the trip was very beautiful, too, although the weather was not so good, to understate. But I suppose the weather China Highlights has not power on! Hangzhou and Shanghai were very beautiful too and we are making our friends and families happy with our tales of China and the lovely Chinese people we met. In the future we will contact you for several opportunities. We are thinking about a trip to Northern China and a trip with a group we could organize from here. Dear Angela !!! We want to tell you that everything went perfect!!! we are really very very very happy with all the arrangements, coordination, guides, places, hotels. We still cannot believe that we already went thru all that, after a lot of time of planning. We recommended Chinahighlights.com to everyone in our way while in China and once here. Dear Morgan Mo Thank you for your email. We had a wonderful holiday with China Highlights. We found all the guides helpful, knowledgeable, polite and friendly. We would highly recommend your company. We have in fact told our friends and family all about you and told them if they travel to China they must use you. There were so many "best things" but it would have to be the visit and holding of a six month old Panda. Something you only do once in your life. Even if we had not been able to have a photo taken with the Pandas it was the "best thing" just to visit the research centre and see what amazing things they have achieved there. The next best thing was the people of China. we met some lovely people. I didn't realise how excited how I would feel in first seeing The Great Wall of China, it took my breath away. We had read that the Beijing Opera was fantastic. It was and we highly recommend it to other travellers. The Impressions Sanjie Liu waterbased show we saw in Yanshuo was amazing; another not-to-be-missed. Our guide, Heqian, recommended it. We are so glad she did… .Even the thunder and rain didn't spoil it. The cycle ride was such a good idea, it would have been nice to do more of that. Thank you again for a very enjoyable holiday.
