Dear Mr. Morgen, Thank you for your help in planning and accomplishing our travel to your marvelous country. We enjoyed very much all our trip, even the cold rain in some of the days. It was a nice part of the scenery. We liked the fact that you organised all the travel keeping in with our free time, interests, hobbies and fobies. And you did it in two days - unbelieveable. We also appreciated very much your guides in every town /kind and competent and willing to help in every case/. We enjoyed the entire schedule and the fact that we had had some "free time" for getting in touch with and feeling China by ourselves. I would like to make some comments about the hotels we stayed in. The position in Xi'án and Guilin was excellent. The hotel in Shanghai was very nice, and we didn't have any problems with the position. Thank you once again for your assistance and help. It was a wonderful vacation for us. Best regards, Dana Voynova

HI Morgen, I had a great time in Beijing and you did a perfect job and If I know someone who is travelling to China I will recommend your service to them. My answer to the questions are below with blue ink. You did a perfect job with a very fear price. I had a great guide (Allen) and can you please say to him from me. Thank you, I had a unforgetable time. The best thing of my trip was without a doubt the Great Walk. Have been my dreams since I was teenager to see it and at last the dream came true. Best regards, Sigridur

Dear Ms. Yang,
I can't believe I have been home for more than a month and that my daughter and I left China April 7. To answer the questions you asked in your e-mail of April 6, 2007, I will try to limit my enthusiasms to only "the best". The five days on the "Victoria Queen" certainly were outstanding. The accommodations, the crew, the entertainment, the food, the tours...all were delightful. The single day "best" would be Chongqing where our guide showed initiative and took us to see the pandas first at the time they were feeding. Then she took us to the Stilwell WW II headquarters which were especially interesting to me as I have personal knowledge of the Stillwell family. Also I am old enough to remember the Flying Tigers and the controversy between Stillwell and Chiang Kai Shek. I think it intrigued our excellent guide that there were people still alive who lived through that time. The most disappointing would have to be Shanghai. Perhaps foolishly, we did not arrange for a guide although the man who met us at the airport and took us to our hotel did offer his services for the next day. We thought we could do the things we wanted to do without help and the particular person who met us had a voice which we felt would bother us if we spent a day with him. He was knowledgeable and kind but we decided against using his services. So we ended up wandering around trying to get to the Bund and then after we had found it, we had trouble getting back to the hotel. We were delighted with the services provided through China Highlights. I did not know what to expect when I made arrangements through e-mail. I could not find any comments on-line before I made the reservations and sent the money so I was most relieved when we were met at Beijing airport by the nice China Highlights sign with our names on it. From then on every arrangement in Beijing, Xian, YiChang, Jungqing and Shanghai was well done. The language skill, knowledge of the cities, the transportation (vehicles and drivers), food arrangements, etc. were excellent. As you can tell, we were very satisfied with all aspects of the trip. The xan xia and the side trips from the Yangtze were a special surprise since we feared the rise in the river would make the views less interesting. We were thrilled. Specials praise goes to the crew of the "Victoria Queen" and the programs presented by the talented crew. The hotels in Beijing, Xian and Shanghai all were excellent and the personnel were helpful.
Sincerely,
Harriet Alexander

Dear Eva, We have returned from our trip tonight and i just wanted to let you know that everything was WONDERFUL! There wasn't one problem. Our guides and drivers were all wonderful and were very punctual, caring and informative. Our guide in Chongqing, Fiona, was great. We wanted to change the itinerary a bit and she was extremely flexible and accommodating. The Victoria boat was fantastic and both Ann and I were very grateful to you for upgrading us to this boat. We met lovely people and had a very memorable trip. My dealings with you and your company have been very smooth from the very beginning and i will certainly call on you again the next time I travel to China. Best wishes, Angela

Hello Eva, We had a fantastic trip in China and were very happy with the services your company provided. The guides were all very knowledgeable and spoke good English ( some better than others). The accommodations were excellent everywhere.we were very satisfied and would gladly serve as a reference for future travelers. Fondly, Paul

Hi Karen I just want to make sure you know how good of a guide you have in Linda. She was solely responsible for making our trip a 10 out of 10 and in my opinion, you would be very smart to do whatever you can to keep her on your team. Thanks brandon

Hi Sunny, I enjoyed visiting the Yunnan Province and seeing the different nationalities, costumes, music etc. which was very different to what I had expected. Learning about that part of China which is so different to the cities where I had spent most of my time. It was unexpectedly beautiful also. I thought your company provided excellent service - very prompt, efficient and responded to all my requests immediately.

Hello Elaine, We were really pleased with the China Highlights trip and only wish we had made it 2 trips of two weeks each, ie Northern China and Southern China because there was just so much to see. As to the specific questions - with our time constraints, the tour was really good. Best Thing: probably the time in Guilin. It was so beautiful and picturesque and the River Li Cruise is something everyone should experience. Of course, the Great Wall was a highlight because it is so spectacular when you can glimpse great stretches of it and can really begin to get a sense of the whole of it. Xi'an was an interesting city with a mixture of old and new architecture and the Terra Cotta Warriors and Tany Dynasty show were some other highlights for us. The Shanghai Museum was fabulous and we were glad our guide was able to rearrange our schedule to allow us extra time there. Also should mention the promptness of all our driver's and tour guides. The Tang Dynasty show, Peking Opera, Shangcheng Acrobatics, and the Classical Night View and Show in Suzhou were all highlights. The restaurant that Meng Xin brought us to for our last lunch in Beijing was absolutely fabulous. We were in a private room in a gorgeous setting and the Hung Pao was the best I have ever had. All the hotels were excellent and I would expecially recommend the Suzhou Garden View Hotel (all around excellence, wonderful gardens) and the Xi'an Bell Tower Hotel (incredible location). The Li River Cruise was wonderful, everything we imagined it would be. Sincerely, Dawn Bean

Hi Candy, We have just returned from 4 days on the Yantze River Cruise on President No.4 and I just wanted to say how much we enjoyed ourselves. If you remember this was not our original ship and I was hesitant in what this President No.4 would be like but we were impressed with the ship and particularly the crew. We upgraded ourselves on arrival to a President Suite as we had our young son with us and this gave us much more room and panoramic viewing windows at the front of the ship. However, the extra bed was a very hard childrens foldaway (no padding at all) and this was no good for our 7 year old. He ended up sleeping on the sofa but this was OK. The food on board was good - breakfast was buffet - western and chinese. Lunch was buffet again western and chinese and dinner was a set chinese menu. This too was good and we were very pleased with presentation and taste. A few International Wine choices would have been good to have at dinner. The staff were fantastic - they all spoke very good English. The evening entertaiment was put on by the staff and whilst the content was not so professional they more than made up for with colourfull costumes and lots of enthusiasm. Excursions were again good - the organisation was always well carried out and made everything enjoyable - even if the weather was not so good this week! Chinahightlights met us from the airport and returned us very promptly and were always very polite and informative. Overall, we were very impressed with the Chinahighlights, the tour ship and crew and would recommend all to our friends. Sophia the ships co-ordinator deserves special mention. Please pass on our comments to all if possible. Thanks again, Janet Czekirda

Hi Sunny, We had a wonderful time in your country. Mr. Gao (our driver) and Kiwi Zhao (our local guide) were excellent. They were so courteous and accomodating, we unfortunately had to visit your local hospital because our son got sick, but they were so good and caring that we knew we were in good hands with them. They listened to our concerns and accomodated us. We had seen so many temples and wanted a break from them so Kiwi suggested that we visit the Panda Zoo (instead of going to two shopping centers-we went to one) and that was such a welcomed break. Our son just loved the pandas, you have a wonderful zoo. The highlight of our trip was the visit to the Great Wall, Ti'anamen Square and the Forbidden City. Your country is so rich in history and it's the best education we could have given our son. The schedule of tours was excellent, but I think it would have been better if you had options - such as the panda zoo or another option you can suggest. This way it would give the traveller the opportunity to choose and see other parts of your great city. We would highly recommend your company to our family and friends. We had a wonderful and memorable time. We would be more than happy to talk to your potential customers. Again thank you for such a wonderful trip. Eric & Corinne Daido
