Hi Clare, Jill and I would like to thank you very much for organizing our cruise. We had a great time and all arrangements went smoothly. The guides that meet us at Wuhan, Yichang and Chongqing were very helpful and made us very welcome, especially Joanne in Chongqing who showed us around the city before we went to the airport to return to Guangzhou. Could you please convey our thanks again to all involved. The cruise was great and we would not hesitate in recommending your company to anyone who is thinking of doing a Yangtze cruise. In fact we have already passed on your company's details to an American couple we met at HK Airport. Clare, Just a note to say thank you, to you, and all your tour guides when we visited Shanghai, Xian and Beijing. I must say that each tour guide and driver did there best to make us feel welcome and looked after our every need. The tour was a trip to remember even with the sars problem we still managed to see all the highlights we wanted. I would recommend your company to anyone wishing to utilize your services and would also use you again when traveling in China again. We will in the future travel to your country on vacation. Dear Aileen, Thanks for your email. The arrangements for the train journey back to Shanghai worked out fine and we arrived in good time to transfer to the airport for the flight home. The cabin was comfortable and we appreciated having it to ourselves so thank you for sorting it out at such short notice. As you see we are safely home now - no illness or symptoms of sars, just the jet-lag to recover from. It sounds as though things have become even more complicated in China for tourists but at least the government's measures should help to control the virus and I hope you will be able to return to normal working as soon as possible. Certainly we have no regrets about our trip and I don?ˉt really think you could have foreseen the way in which things developed. We have many wonderful memories of our time in China - alll the beautiful places we visited and the people we met. We were so pleased to meet you in Guilin and thanks again for the good luck gifts. We haven't completed the services evaluation form so perhaps you will accept these comments instead. We were impressed by all the tour guides and especially their commitment to meeting our needs and providing a good service. All of them were friendly, easy to get on with and well-informed. They all spoke good English which was just as well given our lamentable attempts to learn a few words of Chinese! Finally we would like to thank you personally again for all your help in making this the best trip of our lives so far. I hope we will be able to return to China in the future and maybe spend more time exploring some of the places which we were only able to glimpse in 3 short weeks. Aileen Song did a great job of taking care of any request that we had. She did a good job of putting our trip together on short notice. Arrangement: The travel arrangements were all well thought out and the drivers and guides were always very punctual, courteous and helpful with anything we might need. The cars and vans were clean and smoke free. We always felt safe and felt if we had a problem that they would help us take of it. Employee: Edison was our guide during our stay in Shanghai and he did a wonderful job. He spoke excellent English and was very knowledgable about the city and the tours. He took excellent care of us and was there to help us with any need we had. He was very professional and a lot of fun. Angela, I just wanted to thank you personally for the time you spent in organising our trip. We had a wonderful time, nothing went wrong, and the three guides and drivers were all knowledgeable, helpful, and patient (especially necessary with our son Peter!). We have a number of friends here in Tokyo who are intending to do this sort of trip to China, and of course we have been/ will be enthusiastically recommending your service to anyone who is thinking about coming to China. Dear Nancy, Thank you for the letter - AND THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR THE WHOLE TOUR ARRANGEMENTS! The tour was excellent. We came home yesterday evening, as we stayed for one week in Shanghai.We really enjoyed the tour. It was very good. But as you asked for feedback?- The cruise: the ferry was very good for our needs. The cabin was clean, we could enjoy the scenery through the window, and the toilet/shower was also good. In fact, the ferry was a lot better than what I expected. People were very friendly and tried to help us if we had any questions, and we did find some ones who spoke some English. Well, the train from Wuhan to Guilin was very good, and we enjoyed it a lot. Guilin was very beautiful, and the half day tour was very interesting. The Li river cruise was very beautiful and interesting. We took very many pictures on that cruise. And when we arrived in Yangshuo we were pleased to stay in this new hotel. Everybody were very helpful and the breakfast was very good. In fact, it was a very pleasant stay in Yangshuo. About the land excursions during the Yangtse river cruise - we had to pay for them - they were not included, or at least we were charged for them. The side trip to the Lesser Three Gorges was also very very good. In total, the trip was excellent! Very well planned, and everything worked OK. I'm already thinking of a new trip to China, and when my plans take form, I'd like you to tailor us the tour! Best regards & very many thanks, Risto & the others
