Hi Eva: Just wanted to confirm that we have received our air tickets from Beijing and China. Everything seems to be in order. Thank you. In addition, I d like to take the opportunity to tell you what a wonderful time we had along the Silk Road. The education on history and culture, the people we met, the food and accommodation we experienced had all contributed to our memorable trip. So thank you for all your coordination and your effort in arranging for our tour. I think you would naturally want to have our feedback on our trip. Here it is. In the following, I will attempt to provide evaluation from 4 different perspectives: sightseeing program, tour guide, food, and accommodation. Xian Sightseeing Program We enjoyed all the attractions recommended by CITS. Time spent at each location was reasonable and flexible. There was no rush, making the experience very enjoyable. We only visited 4 out of the 6 attractions on our list due to last minute flight changes by the airline. Tour Guide Louis was honest about the time limitation and recommended 4 places for us to visit. We agreed that it would be more reasonable than trying to visit all 6 places in the same day. Our tour guide Louis was flexible to our needs and always checked to make sure we were happy with our program changes. He took great length in explaining the culture and history. He was very knowledgeable. He was always on time and always had our interest in mind. His attitude was excellent. We received excellent services from him and the driver. It was worth mentioning that the driver took great care in driving. We felt very safe. FoodBreakfast at the hotel was very good. The buffet breakfast offered a wide variety of food. We also enjoyed the lunch different styles of Chinese dumplings. Accommodation Accommodation was excellent. Lanzhou Sightseeing Lanzhou offered some surprisingly interesting cites for sightseeing. We enjoyed the program very much, especially Binglingsi Grotto we never knew that it would so beautiful. It was truly a must to see. Guide Our guide Can was energetic and friendly. Here again we had excellent services. He displayed a desire to please, was flexible and attentive to our needs. He was always on time and was very protective toward us as well, as we were being stared at several times by curious passers-by who inquired why 2 Chinese-looking tourists would require English-speaking guides.

Well, Karen, we both feel the organisation and management of China Highlights is excellent. The weeks of email contact and preparation with you before we left were really good-and very reassuring. Your prompt response to our queries was also excellent. It was SO wonderful to have your Tour Guides, with smiling faces, at each and every airport- and also the comfort when they took us right up to the Check In desk on departure, as we were in unknown territory with virtually no knowledge of the written or spoken language. ALL your Tour Guides were highly intelligent, well educated, very caring, conscientious and flexible. The cars were great, as were all the drivers. Congratulations to them all. The drivers were SO patient and we never felt concerned about our safety in all the traffic and miles that we travelled. We have to say, though, that Foster from Guilin really topped the list- he was just brilliant, and we felt we had a friend caring for us. We also feel that the Bravo Hotel in Guiline topped the best list too. All the internal flights were good and comfortable and we enjoyed the train ride from Hangzhou to Suzou- although it was very, very difficult to get all our luggage up and down two large flights of steps to the railway platform in Hangzhou. The weather was very kind to us, never cold, and we only had one day?ˉs rain in the whole 26 days -unfortunately that was when we went to the Three Gorges Dam. The Kung-Fu show and the Acrobat Show were wonderful. And the dinner at the Qianmen Quanjude Restaurant very good indeed. The lunch in Shanghai in the large restaurant under the Pearl Tower was also excellent. The hotels were all very nice. The location was not of high importance to us, as we were quite tired each evening, and by the time we had had a shower and a meal we were ready for bed. The Suzhou Embroidery Research Institute of China in Suzhou was absolutely wonderful and quite unique. There was no pressure to buy, but we succumbed and bought a double sided picture of Herons, which is now displayed in our front window and looks beautiful. hello elaine, we just want to tell you that we really had a wonderful stay in beijing! all the tour and hotel arrangements went very well. we really enjoyed our stay at park plaza hotel.our tourist guide, Jay, and driver, mr. fu, have been very helpful and accommodating. they made our stay in beijing very pleasant.we really appreciate the free additional tours jay arranged for us. she brought us to the pearl factory, jade factory, silk factory and the enamel factory. we learned so much about the chinese culture when we visited these places. thank you so much. jay has been a very patient and courteous tourist guide and very pretty also.also, mr. fu has been so kind to drive us to the silk market for the second time for free. do you recall that our second day is supposed to be a group tour.? but jay said their office arranged it as a private tour for our convenience and comfort. also for free. we are so satisfied with the service! again, thank you very much! thank you very much! jolla

Dear Cheryl, Our guide, "Joy", in Beijing, was one of the best. Very knowledgeable, friendly and organized. I didn't get the feeling that she had anything to do with scheduling the factory tours. But all things considered, we had the best experiences in Beijing. Many thanks for your service. Thank you for arranging such a wonderful trip for us. The best thing about your trip was hiking on the Great Wall, Jinshanling to Simatai. Sandy and I both agreed on that one. Many thanks for a fine trip to China. Dear Elaine, Well I am back in the philippines after making my sidetrips to Luizhou and Guangzhou, There are several things that made the trip memorable. Of course first reason is the places visited , not to mention the sites included in the tour. secondly, the size of the group is just right. .The guide is able to assist us in our needs. I really appreciate the fact they really leave us until we were on the train on our extra days. . All our guides were knowledgable and enthusiastic in doing their jobs. Alth0o Jeff in Shanghai was not as informative voluntarily, he was most helpful and never left us at the shanghai train station.i have made friends with our guides and will email them soon.I will certainly recommend the tour. the best hotel for us was in Guilin. it was big ang the aircondition really worked.the least is in Xian. it was too old and small, aircon did nt work.. It was also nice meeting all of you in person when we were in GUILIN. Thanks and till our next travel

Hi Eva, I want to express to you the utmost and ultimate gratitude on behalf of myself, and my traveling party. We just returned and it was the best trip of our lives. I could not be more pleased with the trip you arranged for us. The sights we saw, the people we met, the meals we ate, and the people we encountered, will last with us forever. China Highlights gets an absolute A+ rating from all of us. I would like to give special kudos to our personal tour guides, Linda in Beijing, and Anna in Xi'an. They were both the sweetest, most accommodating guides we could have ever wished for. They made our experience amazingly rewarding. Being in America, I was a little anxious dealing with a company on the other side of the world, but all of my reservations were relieved when I saw our guides excitedly awaiting us at the airport gates. Every single aspect of the trip was perfect. We are so glad we took this trip. China is a fantastic country and the people were so endearing. Thank you for providing us with such a compelling experience. The only reservation we had was when we had our meals we would have preferred if our guides could share the meals with us. It was a little awkward for us when our guides were forced to eat somewhere else when we ate. Many times we encouraged our guides to eat with us at our table at our expense. Hello Cheryl Thank you for letting me express my thoughts and feelings regarding my recent trip to China.The reason I chose your company was that I was able to take a pre existing tour package andcustomize it to my liking. I had a really good time and experience. Best Things of My Trip: Being able to customize my trip and not just see and do all the touristy things with herds of other tourists. Traveling with my own private guide in each city, allowed me easier and faster access to many places. I especially enjoyed my time with Jon (guide in Li Jiang). Li Jiang was not only a beautiful place to visit, but Jon was very informative and personable to travel with. He was very flexible and attentive to my needs and comfort. He even allowed me the use of his camera for a day when mine broke. He found a repair shop for me and negotiated a good price to get my camera repaired. He recently e-mailed me the pictures I took with his camera. Jon really went above and beyond the call of duty.

What was the best thing about your trip? * Everything went smoothly in terms of logistics (flights, hotels, drivers, schedule,...). Therefore was full leisure trip! and everything in our schedule was interesting * We appreciated the guides we had: the 3 of them were attentive and knowledgable people, nice to communicate/exchange with, and good advisers for schedule adjustment. Specialy in Beijing, where we modified the timing and places of Great wall visits and these were good suggestions * Thank you Karen for your efforts: we appreciated a lot to have a french speaking guide in Xi'an; this was additional fun in the conversation. * The hotels were always at walking distance from city activity centers; which was nice for "free time" and to find places for dinners. 2. How could China Highlights Travel have assisted you more? I have no suggestion, as for us the preparation of the trip and the service were fine.

Dear Sunny My daughter and I have just returned from our trip to China. It was splendid. Everything went according to plan with no major glitches or problems. The guides were excellent. When they were supposed to meet us or pick us up, they were always on time. It may seem like a little thing but promptness is most appreciated when one has limited time to spend in a particular location. Each of the guides was also well-organized in respect to sites to be visited yet, when necessary, each could adjust to changes which I requested. They did their best to accommodate my daughter and myself. I appreciate all their efforts. I wish to thank you as well, Sunny, for arranging the trip so well. I hope to revisit China in the future and will certainly use the valuable services of China Highlights to help me plan such an undertaking. Alice Remini
